Learner objectives

On completion of LEAD, participants will be able to:

  • Devise a learning evaluation strategy for their organisation

  • Conduct evaluation of any learning initiative in their organisation.

  • Recognise, describe, select and apply the main approaches, methods and tools for learning evaluation, in their organisational context.

  • Recognise, describe, select and apply the essential research methods to conduct an evaluation.

  • Prepare and present an evaluation report.

Organisational outcomes

In addition to the outcomes for learners, each participating organisation will:

  • Obtain a real-time evaluation of a discrete learning initiative of their choice.

  • Benefit from supported internal consultancy to develop their learning evaluation strategy.

  • Benefit from supported internal consultancy to identify, select and apply the most appropriate evaluation and research methods for their specific situation.
